Post Having troubles with BioShock
Just installed it but I think my stuff is too old to run it semi-decently (there's not even a cursor in the menu)

What I have: Radeon X600 256 MB HyperMemory
Minimum system requirements: http://cdn.steampowered.com/Manuals/767 ... 1264795843

What should I do?

The X600 uses PCIe 1.0 16x - you can find a good replacement card on eBay for less than $30.

I trust newegg more than eBay... which ones do you like? I think I'm going to end up getting the one with the best ratings/reviews because I don't have a lot of knowledge about this stuff.

My recommendation:

It's cheap after rebate, and it will keep your rig taking on newer games for a little while longer. Do it ;)

Are you sure your X600 is PCIE because they made them in AGP also. I have several X800 series that are AGP and a couple that are PCIE. Google your motherboard model to get the specs before you pay for hardware that may not work for you.
