Clan History

Avenger's StrangeLove Kampers of America began in 2001 as a private family clan for Unreal Tournament 1999 "Game of the Year". Soon, others began to join because of our members reputations for their helpfulness to others and overall in-game attitudes. KOA grew in numbers, and in March 2004 rented its first clan server.

An unfortunate chaos took ahold of our clan as Avenger was forced to leave us behind. We endured the loss of a great friend and a great leader.

In 2005 some difficulties caused us to lose our previous website, e-mail, and Unreal Tournament servers, but KOA members endured, wearing their |KOA| tags proudly, having fun and contributing to the Unreal Tournament StrangeLove community in ways both subtle and obvious.

And here we are in 2009, eight years old and still active. We've had wonderful leadership over the years, and everyone does their part to make KOA continue on.

We are KOA, one of the oldest and most respected StrangeLove UT99 clans around. We invite you to come join us.
